Sorn Seavmey is a Cambodian taekwondo practitioner and a 2013 SEA Games gold medalist. She is known as the modern champion of Cambodia and the inspiration to Cambodian youths.
After her victory in securing a gold medal in a Taekwondo match in the Asian Games 2014 in South Korea, she become the first Cambodian to win an Asian Games gold medal since 1954.
In 2016, she opened the Family Taekwondo training centre to provide the opportunity for Cambodians to learn, practice and enjoy Taekwondo. All the courses and training is supervised by the champion herself as she continues to inspire skill and excellence amongst the Cambodian youths.
Sorn Seavmey brought home another gold medal in the 2017 SEA Games, bringing victory and pride to her country.
